CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
RESPONSIBILITY
This is our commitment to transparency which is core to our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts and our desire to ensure that our vendors are based on lawful, efficient and fair practices. We expect our vendors to obey the laws that require them to treat workers fairly and provide their employees with a safe and healthy work environment.
Ethical Sourcing
Our ethical sourcing program ensures we are protecting the things that matter most: the safety, respect and happiness of everyone that works to produce our products.  Our research into sourcing goes hand in had with the California Transparency In Supply Chains Act.
CALIFORNIA TRANSPARENCY IN SUPPLY CHAINS ACT
As of January 1, 2012, many companies manufacturing or selling products in the state of California are required to disclose their efforts to address the issue of forced labor and human trafficking, regarding the California Transparency in Supply Chains Act of 2010 (SB 657). This law was designed to increase the amount of information made available by companies with regard to efforts to eradicate forced labor and human trafficking. This allows consumers to make informed and better choices regarding the products they buy and the companies they choose to support.
Forced labor and human trafficking can take many forms, including child labor, long hours with below legal hourly pay (forced labor) and should not be tolerated. Lekker Global, Inc has a zero-tolerance policy for both forced labor and child labor. We are committed to ensuring that our supply chain reflects our respect for human rights. This is why our relations with our vendors are based on lawful, efficient and fair practices. We expect our vendors to obey the laws that require them to treat workers fairly, and provide employees with a safe and healthy work environment.
Lekker Global requires our vendors to confirm in writing via a vendor agreement that they, and the factories they use, conform to these standards, and we maintain a file of these agreements.
We reserve the right to terminate the relationship with any vendor who fails to comply with our requirements.
